Bipul Sinha

Bipul Sinha is the visionary co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of Rubrik, a company he founded in 2014 to redefine data security for the modern enterprise. Before founding Rubrik, Bipul had a distinguished career as a venture capitalist at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where he was a founding investor and board member of Nutanix and Hootsuite. His earlier career included engineering roles at Oracle, IBM, and American Megatrends, where he earned several patents in distributed computing. Born in Bihar, India, Bipul overcame challenging circumstances to graduate from IIT Kharagpur (where he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2019) and later earned an MBA from The Wharton School as a Palmer Scholar. He led Rubrik to a successful IPO on NYSE in April 2024.
