Mohit Aron

Mohit Aron is widely recognized as the "Father of Hyperconverged Infrastructure" and is the founder and CEO of Cohesity. Before founding Cohesity in 2013, Mohit co-founded Nutanix, where he served as CTO and architected the foundational technology that pioneered the hyperconverged infrastructure market. Earlier in his career, he spent four years at Google as a lead developer on the Google File System, the distributed storage system underpinning Google's cloud infrastructure. Mohit earned his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 1995, followed by an MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University in 2001, specializing in distributed computing. Born and raised in Chandigarh, India, he has dedicated his career to solving complex data infrastructure challenges at scale.
