Akul Gupta

Co-founder and CTO of MindFort. An expert in LLM security and offensive AI, he holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Previously, he worked on the safety and red-teaming teams at OpenAI and Anthropic, where he investigated model vulnerabilities. He has co-authored multiple academic papers on LLM-enabled cyberattacks, providing the theoretical backbone for MindFort's autonomous agents.

MindFort AI is building the first truly autonomous security workforce capable of finding, exploiting, and patching complex vulnerabilities at scale. Unlike traditional scanners that produce noisy false positives, MindFort's agents utilize the same principles as human penetration testers to understand target logic, validate exploitability, and autonomously execute remediation. The platform offers continuous, code-level protection, effectively bridging the widening gap between the speed of AI-driven development and the capacity of security teams.
