Jay Chaudhry is the founder and CEO of Zscaler, the world's largest cloud security company, which he founded in 2007. Zscaler pioneered Zero Trust security architecture and processes over 250 billion transactions daily for 6,000+ customers globally. Jay is a serial entrepreneur, having founded four successful security companies: SecureIT (acquired by VeriSign), CipherTrust, AirDefense (acquired by Motorola), and CoreHarbor. Born in 1958 in the small village of Panoh in Himachal Pradesh, India, Jay grew up without electricity, often studying under trees. He walked 4km daily to attend high school and was the first from his village to fly on an airplane. Jay earned his B.Tech from IIT BHU Varanasi, multiple master's degrees from University of Cincinnati, and completed Harvard's executive management program.
