Amit Yadav is the Co-founder and CEO of Ishiki Labs, a Y Combinator W26 startup developing "Fern," a multimodal AI with continuous contextual awareness. He holds a PhD from Purdue University focusing on speech and video processing and previously worked as a Research Scientist at Meta AI, training multimodal LLMs with the LLaMA team and developing video assistants for smart glasses in Reality Labs. Amit co-founded Ishiki Labs with Robert Xu to address limitations in existing multimodal AI regarding continuous presence and contextual awareness, building AI that can watch, listen, and act with human-like judgment.
